Brahim Díaz's injury update – AC Milan
Brahim Díaz, the young Argentine forward who joined AC Milan from Villarreal last summer, has been out injured for several weeks and it is unclear when he will return to action.
The 19-year-old was forced to miss Milan's opening two Serie A matches after picking up an ankle injury in training, but it looks like he could be out longer than that.
Díaz's absence has left Milan struggling to find goals in attack, with the club only managing to score four goals in their first five league games this season.
AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli has admitted that the team needs more firepower in front of goal,Serie A Observation and Díaz's injury has added to the club's problems in that area.
However, Pioli has also praised Díaz's character and determination, and has said that the player is determined to get back on the pitch as soon as possible.
It remains to be seen whether Díaz will make a full recovery or if he will need surgery, but one thing is clear - his absence is causing concern for Milan and they will need to find a solution quickly if they want to challenge for a top-four finish in Serie A.
